says that parents should consider an auspicious Muhurat to conceive a

Selecting a Nakshatra for conception or Garbhadhana Muhurat is very important and needs careful selection. For Garbhdharan Sanskara Utrafalguni, Uttrashada, Utrabhadrapad, Rohini, Mrighshira, Anuradha, Hast, Swati, Shravan, Ghanishta and Shatbhisha Nakshatra are very auspicious.
The date or Tithi for Garbhdharan Sanskara Muhurat

next important ingredient in selecting the Muhurat for Garbhadhan.
Astrology also talks
about important dates for this Sanskara. As per Hindu calendar
Pratipada, second, third, fifth, seventh, tenth, twelfth and thirteenth
is considered auspicious dates for Garbhdharan.
Day for Garbhdharan Sanskara Muhurat
If we talk about days then Wednesday, Tuesday and Friday are auspicious days for this Sanskara. Apart from this, Monday is also considered as an auspicious day for this Sanskara.
Ascendant for Garbhdharan Sanskara Muhurat
Ascendant is the
starting point in a horoscope and is, therefore very important.
Ascendant of a “ Muhurat” or auspicious time which is selected to start a
particular Sanskara like Garbadhan assumes a unique position. This is
because that particular moment decides the success or failure of that
activity. According to the book “Muhurta Chintamani”, if the time of
Muhurat is selected properly, the ascendant thus worked out can
counterbalance the other defects of Muhurat.
According to
Astrology, the Ascendant should be auspicious and strong during this Sanskara.
There should be a strong planet in Kendra (first, fourth, seventh and
tenth house) and trine (fifth and ninth) or a malefic planet in the
third, sixth and eleventh house. When Sun, Mars and Jupiter aspects
Ascendant and Moon is located in Navmansh, then this position is
considered very auspicious. Ascendant signs two, three, five, six,
seven, eight, nine and eleven are good signs.
Caution
Astrology says that
if Moon is located in the fourth, eighth house from the birth-Moon then
it is an inauspicious position for this Sanskara. Besides this, if the
third, fifth and seventh Tara is malefic or Bhadra Dosha is inauspicious
then this Sanskara should not be performed. Yoga should be checked.
Except Vyatipata, Vaidhriti, Bhadra, and Sankranti all days are good.
